Ralph B. Trowbridge died July 15, 2007.

Mr. Trowbridge was preceded in death by his twin brother Roy and his parents Clarence and Georgie Trowbridge. He is survived by his twin brothers Glenn (Ann) Trowbridge of Stow and Gene (Nancy) Trowbridge of Atlanta and his sister Alice (Don) Leyden of Virginia. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 31 years, Sandy. He was the beloved father of Karen (John) Carney of Stow, Jack Trowbridge of Cuyahoga Falls, Michael (Shirl) Trowbridge of Seville and stepsons Richard (Celena) Woodcock, Rittman and Steven (Kristine) Woodcock of Akron; 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Mr. Trowbridge was born in Akron on Oct. 28, 1928, and graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School. He spent most of his early life in the Falls. He was a Falls police officer early in his career and found his life work in construction. In 1958 he incorporated Bowen Construction. Mr. Trowbridge became a building contractor, constructing many homes and apartments in Cuyahoga Falls and Stow. During the last 30 years of his life, he was a resident of Norton. Mr. Trowbridge was a member of The Chapel. Funeral services took place at McGowan-Reid and Santos Funeral Home, the Rev. Steve Bucy officiating.
