As part of the Hudson Library’s phased reopening, the library return bins will reopen on a limited basis beginning on Wednesday, May 27from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Expanded return hours will begin on June 1 once curbside service begins. Due dates will be extended and fines waived during this time. To prevent the overwhelming return of materials at one time, patrons are asked to abide by the following procedures when returning items:

The drive through book drop will only be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday through Friday. Expanded return hours will start the week of June 1.

Only books, CDS, audiobooks, video games and DVDs will be accepted. Please do not return puzzles, technology devices, puppets or STEM kits for the time being. Patrons may call to arrange for return of these other materials in early June during the next stage of the Hudson Library reopening.

Returns will be limited to 10 items per drop off at one time.

Only library materials will be accepted for return. Book donations will not be accepted.

Returns will only be accepted in the drive-through book drop. The drive-up window and the building will not be open.

Return only Hudson Library materials (the barcode sticker on the item will read "Hudson Library & Historical Society")

Please note that all items will be quarantined for 3-5 days and will not be immediately discharged from patrons’ accounts.

The Hudson Library will offer contactless curbside pickup starting on June 1. Stay tuned for more information.

All dates and procedures relating to the library’s phased reopening process are subject to potential change based on directives from state and county health authorities as well as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
