CUYAHOGA FALLS — After being closed for about two months due to COVID-19, the Natatorium will reopen in phases starting May 26.

In phase one of the reopening, upper fitness, lower fitness and the track will be available for use. The facility hours will be Monday through Friday from 5:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

"I can assure you that facility obligations as it pertains to social distancing, cleanliness and sanitizing remain a top priority upon your return," said Natatorium Facility Director Lori Visner on the facility’s website. "Opening a facility of this size and recalling staff is a massive undertaking, therefore we thank you in advance for understanding our phased in approach as we move forward."

Patrons should visit to review the requirements, guidelines and information pertaining to the reopening plans. Information is available on the home page of the website under the "Welcome Back Message" and "Reopening the Natatorium" tabs on the far right.

Gov. Mike DeWine announced last week that fitness centers and gymnasiums were allowed to reopen on May 26.
