Weapon offense

BB gun fired: Police said that after they responded to a report of a male firing a gun in his Keswick Drive back yard May 8, they found the weapon was a BB gun. Police warned the man that it was in violation of city ordinances to fire the gun.

Suspicion

Screaming heard: Police said that after an East Streetsboro Street woman reported hearing someone screaming outside a neighbor’s home and then saw someone running from the neighbor’s garage to the house at around 11 p.m. May 6, the neighbor said he had been in the garage when he heard an unidentified animal screaming and he ran to the house to get away from it.

Domestic violence

Woman allegedly slapped:Police said they charged a 48-year-old Hudson man with first-degree misdemeanor domestic violence after a woman reported he slapped her during an argument at their home May 6. The man admitted he slapped the woman, police said. The man was taken to Macedonia City Jail.
