Coronavirus cases reported statewide reached 27,923, including 1,625 deaths, according to data released Sunday by the Ohio Department of Health.
The total reported cases, which include confirmed and suspected cases, increased 1.6% from Saturday.

The following are the number of confirmed and suspected coronavirus cases and deaths in the Greater Akron region as reported by the Ohio Department of Health as of Sunday.
Summit: 1,004 reported cases (nine new), including 110 deaths (unchanged), according to state data. Summit County Public Health was reporting 1,024 confirmed and probable cases, including 112 deaths, as of Sunday afternoon.
Stark: 558 reported cases (five new), including 74 deaths (unchanged).
Portage: 292 reported cases (two new), including 51 deaths (unchanged).
Medina: 216 reported cases (four new), including 18 deaths (unchanged).
Wayne: 201 reported cases (one new), including 48 deaths (unchanged).
Holmes: 11 reported cases (one new), including one death (unchanged).
Ashland: 15 reported cases with no deaths. (no new cases or deaths).
Tuscarawas: 264 reported cases (six new), including one death (unchanged).
New cases and deaths were just reported in the past day and could be many days older.
