The Midway Drive-In, 2736 Route 59 in Ravenna, opened to the public on May 15.

Though it is not required by state law, owner John Knepp is cutting the capacity in half to ensure safe social distancing between cars. Advanced ticket purchases, available at funflick.com/midway, are recommended. The box office opens at 8 p.m., and Reserve-A-Spot is available.

Standard admission is $20 per carload. Midway charges an $8 fee to bring in outside food and beverages.

The concession stand will form one line distancing 6 feet apart.There will be three cashiers taking orders through a walk-up window, and there will be a separate pick-up window. There will be no entrance into the building. 

Bathrooms will be open and sanitized throughout the evening.

May 15-20, Screen 1: "Onward" (PG) at 9 p.m. "Call of the Wild" (PG) at 10:50 p.m. 

May 17-20, Screen 2: "Invisible Man" (R) at 9 p.m. "The Hunt" (R) immediately following. 

The drive-in is hosting several high school senior events throughout May and June. Be sure to check the movie schedule the night of your visit.
