Unrestrained dogs

Dogs seen running around: An Eton Street woman reported seeing two large dogs running loose in her yard and around her neighborhood during the afternoon April 21. A sheriff’s deputy responded, but was unable to find the dogs.

Domestic violence

Man arrested after making threats: The sheriff’s office said it charged a 29-year-old Akron man with domestic violence/menacing and two counts of criminal damaging, all second-degree misdemeanors, after a township woman reported the man yelled at her and threatened her, then broke a window trying to get into her home and put dents into the hood of another household member’s vehicle by rolling his body over it. The man was taken to Summit County Jail. A sheriff’s report did not include a damage estimate.

Violating a

protection order

Man found at home: Police said they charged a Cleveland man, 40, with first-degree misdemeanor violating a temporary protection order after they responded to a report that a Twinsburg woman was having trouble breathing at her home April 16. The woman said she did not need medical attention and that she and the man had been arguing. Police said they arrested the man after determining the woman had a temporary protection order against the man through a court. He was taken to Solon City jail.
