CUYAHOGA FALLS — The school district’s leader is asking residents to show visible support for essential employees on Monday evening through an effort called "Shine On."

Cuyahoga Falls City School District Superintendent Dr. Todd Nichols said school officials are encouraging district residents in both the city and Silver Lake to turn on their front porch lights 8 to 10 p.m. on Monday, April 27.

Doing this collaborative illumination effort is intended to show support for essential employees, Nichols said.

"Please shine a light on the city of Cuyahoga Falls and the Village of Silver Lake," stated Nichols.
