CUYAHOGA FALLS — Due to the ongoing situation with COVID-19, the city has extended the cancellation of public events through May 31.
The canceled events include:
1. Mom Prom – May 8;
2. Great American River Day Cleanup – May 16; and
3. Kids-to-Parks Day – May 16.
The Electronics and Home Goods Recycling event scheduled for May 2 has been postponed until fall.
The Parks and Recreation Department’s adult and girls’ softball leagues have been postponed until further notice.
No final decisions have been made on the 2020 Water Works Family Aquatic Center season.
Separate announcements will be made in the coming weeks and will follow guidance from the state of Ohio and Summit County public health authorities regarding outdoor aquatic facilities.
Information regarding wading pools in the neighborhood parks will be included in that announcement.
