The Stow Municipal Court has changed its operational hours until further notice to comply with the COVID-19 directives that have been issued by Gov. Mike DeWine and the public health authorities.
The adjusted operational hours are: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m to 2 p.m.
Building access will continue to be restricted to essential parties only (e.g. defendants, attorneys, witnesses, and victims). Family members and children will not be permitted to enter the building, nor will anyone who is displaying symptoms of illness.
Case parties are encouraged to go to stowmunicourt.com to use the remote filing options that are available. Civil cases will be limited to essential hearings only. Parties will be notified of schedule changes and encouraged to check the court’s website for all updates and rescheduled court hearings.
Individuals subject to community control (probation) supervision are to continue corresponding with their supervising officers. Meetings will continue by telephone and video conferencing. Thursday evening educational classes previously scheduled for March and April have been postponed.
Additional updates will be provided as necessary. The public and the court’s community partners are directed to the court’s website and Facebook page for further updates.
