HUDSON — In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, city leaders have declared a state of emergency.
Mayor Craig Shubert and City Manager Jane Howington signed a proclamation which sets up that status.
“The city is following the state and federal government as per Hudson’s emergency operations procedures,” said city spokesperson Jody Roberts. “The declaration also allows the city the ability to apply for federal reimbursement for certain expenditures related to the disaster if money becomes available in the future.”
Although city buildings are closed to the public, Roberts said the facilities are still being staffed and residents’ questions will be answered by phone and email.
The city hall phone number is 330-650-1799.
