CUYAHOGA FALLS — The city school district’s Board of Education will meet Wednesday at 4:45 p.m. and officials will arrange the room to allow for a proper amount of distancing due to the coronavirus pandemic, the superintendent said.
"We are setting up the [high school] library to reflect social distancing of the [Board] members and cabinet members," said Cuyahoga Falls City School District Superintendent Dr. Todd Nichols.
The meeting will begin with an executive session at 4:45 p.m. and will be followed by the public session at 6.
President Donald Trump on Monday issued guidelines calling on Americans to avoid gatherings of 10 people or more.
Nichols added that Board members and administrative employees in attendance will encompass "approximately 10 people."
Thus, he noted, "it would be prudent to strongly request all others to view the meeting remotely."
The district is planning to livestream the meeting on YouTube at: https://youtu.be/A-SVj94R8oM.
