TWINSBURG — The city will temporarily close the Aaron & Moses restaurant due to concerns related to COVID-19, although its parks and the golf course will remain open for the time being.

Mayor Ted Yates said the restaurant, which is in the clubhouse at Gleneagles Golf Course, was closed due to Gov. Mike DeWine’s order to shut down restaurants and bars to help limit the potential spread of the virus.

"Governor DeWine ordered the closure of all restaurants and bars in the State," Yates said Monday in a release. "While there is the possibility of maintaining a carryout business, I have decided to completely close Aaron & Moses until further notice. The safety of our patrons and employees is our primary focus at this point.

"We are keeping our outdoor parks open in an effort to allow some type of recreational activity for our residents. However, be aware that any public restroom located at the parks will be closed, so please plan accordingly. In addition, the golf course and driving range will open this week and remain open depending on weather. We will have staff disinfecting all areas that will be exposed to the public. The on-course restrooms will be closed, so take that into consideration if you decide to play."

In addition, public access to city buildings will be limited, Yates stated.

"If you need to personally submit anything to the City please do so at the main reception area of City Hall," Yates said. "Feel free to contact us at 330-425-7161 to see if there is a way to handle your need through a phone call or electronically."
