CUYAHOGA FALLS — Due to the coronavirus outbreak, the Natatorium’s fitness facility will close for three weeks starting with the close of business on Sunday.
The closure includes the entire fitness facility but excludes physical therapy service, according to a news release from the city. People with physical therapy appointments should contact Western Reserve Hospital at 330-926-0384. Swim lessons that were scheduled for the next three weeks are delayed until further notice.
Time will be added to all facility passes to ensure that members receive a full 12-month value.
The closure of the fitness center does not impact privately reserved events at the Natatorium or city-sponsored public meetings such as city council and planning commission meetings.
"Individuals are encouraged to follow guidance from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and Summit County Public Health regarding social distancing and health precautions to determine how to proceed with mass gatherings," a city news release said.
