CUYAHOGA FALLS — Students in the city school district will not attend classes in their buildings from March 16 through April 3, per an order given by Gov. Mike DeWine as part of the state’s response to the coronavirus outbreak.

District Superintendent Dr. Todd Nichols said students will attend classes on the early release schedule on Friday, March 13.

Nichols said district staff will formulate lesson plans on Monday, March 16, and Tuesday, March 17, that will be delivered to students through Google Classroom accounts. He added distribution centers will be used to provide coursework material to students who do not have Internet access.

During this time frame from March 16 through April 3, all after-school practices, events. contests and activities will be canceled, said Nichols.
