TWINSBURG — There will be no classes for students in the Twinsburg City School District on Friday, according to district superintendent Kathi Powers.
"Due to the importance of continuing instruction should a school or the district be closed due to COVID-19, the Twinsburg Board of Education has authorized Friday, March 13, as a non-student Curriculum Day so that our staff members have an opportunity to finalize the development of instructional plans that are rich in content, standards-based and that are easily accessible by our students," stated Powers.
Powers also said that students from preschool through grade 8 will bring home a survey on Tuesday regarding their family's Internet accessibility. Parents and guardians are asked to fill out the survey and return it to their child's classroom. High school students will be asked to fill out the same survey on Wednesday.
