STOW - The 17th biennial Stow-Munroe Falls Community Showcase welcomes the public to learn more about its community next Saturday and Sunday.

The Stow-Munroe Falls Community Showcase is at the Stow-Munroe Falls High School, 3227 Graham Road, on March 14 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and March 15 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission and parking are free.

Approximately 200 exhibitors will have tables highlighting businesses, organizations and schools in the community.

Stow Parks and Recreation sponsors activities for children with the Kids Karnival & Toddler Town. Children will enjoy activities, bounce houses, carnival games and more in the lower gym. Face painting and balloon twisters will be done between noon and 2 p.m. both days. Children must be accompanied by adults at all times.

Kids Karnival and Toddler Town mascots include Spike from noon to 2 p.m. both days; Zippy from 1:30 to 3 p.m. on Saturday and 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday; and Flash from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday.

The Stow-Munroe Falls Community Showcase provides entertainment on the stage in the Commons Area. On Saturday the entertainment includes The Akron Derbytown Chorus (9:30 to 10:15 a.m.); All About Dance! by Kristen (11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.); ETC- All American Youth Show Choir (12:30 to 1:15 p.m.); Stow Players - excerpts from "Life Could be a Dream" (1:30 to 2:15 p.m.); and Highland Square Ukelele (2:30 to 3:15 p.m.).

On Sunday the entertainment includes Momentum - Kent State University Male A Capella Group (11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.); Highland/Indian Trail Elementary Choirs (12:20 to 1:15 p.m.); and SMF High School Choirs (1:30 - 2:15 p.m.).

Free shredding will be provided both days, compliments of Weaver Industries (Weaver Secure-Shred).
