The League of Women Voters of the Akron Area and the League of Women Voters of Hudson are sponsoring a primary election forum from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 26 at the Akron-Summit County Public Library, 60 South St. in Akron. The moderator will be Karen Leith, Ph.D., LWV of Ohio Board Member and Past President, LWV Hudson.

The public is invited to meet the candidates in competitive primary races for the following offices: U.S. Congress, Districts 11, 13, 14 and 16; Ohio District 26 State Representative; Summit County Sheriff; Summit County Council District 5 and Domestic Relations Judge for the March 17 primary election. The forum is covering only those races where there is more than one candidate from either party seeking nomination to run in the November general election.
