TWINSBURG — Area youth from ages 7 to 17 will bring Disney's "Frozen" to life on the R.B.Chamberlin Middle School stage on Feb. 22 and 23, in the form of "Frozen Kids."

This musical, which is staged by the Twinsburg Community Theatre and features both songs from the animated film and tunes from the Broadway production, runs 30 to 45 minutes.

"We did that so young ones can sit through it," said Twinsburg Community Theatre’s Artistic Director, Shonna Talley Nitzel. "It's aimed for all audience members. They will hear the songs that they love, but done by a cast of youth of course. The hidden folk are not trolls but they are other magical forest creatures. Not exact but pretty darn close. And people need to come see our reindeer. We are working on his costume right now."

There are 48 cast members in the show ranging from second through 12th grade, Nitzel said.

"That's about half the cast we usually have but it's still a large cast," she said.

Performances are set for Feb. 22 at 7 p.m. and Feb. 23 at 1 and 3 p.m. R.B. Chamberlin Middle School is at 10270 Ravenna Road. Tickets can be purchased at TwinsburgTheatre.com. General admission is $8. Tickets for children 5 and younger and seniors 55 and older are $5 each. Advance tickets are recommended due to limited capacity.

"We will likely sell the show out since there are only three performances, and it's a smaller theater," Nitzel said. "We have had to turn people away from our previous youth shows, so people need to pre-order their tickets, and they need to do it asap."
