Family Promise of Summit County is hosting a Knight at the Races fundraiser to raise money to help homeless families with children stay together and achieve sustainable independence. It is the only organization in Summit County that specifically serves homeless families with children and the only organization that keeps the entire family together during homelessness. Family Promise also accepts the families' pets.

The event is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 11 at Roses Run Country Club, 2636 N. River Road in Stow. The doors open at 5:30 p.m. Races step off at 6 p.m. General Admission tickets are $45 and include a buffet dinner, open bar and dessert. Tickets available in advance and at the door.
