Criminal mischief

Concession stand spray painted: A Hudson City School District employee reported discovering during the morning Oct. 22 that someone spray painted graffiti onto a Hudson Middle School athletic field concession stand off North Oviatt Street.


Kayak stolen at park: A Hudson man reported Oct. 21 that someone stole his approximately $240 kayak from a storage rack at Hudson Springs Park off Stow Road during the previous two weeks. The man said a cord, which had secured the kayak to the rack with a lock, was cut.


Spare key taken: Police responded to an East Streetsboro Street home after a resident reported an emergency spare key hidden outside the home was missing Oct. 21. Entry into the home was not reported. Police said someone returned the key hours later, but people who knew where it had been hidden denied taking it. Police said the home’s external door locks were subsequently changed as a precaution.

Males waiting for train: Police said that after they responded to a report of three suspicious males in the area of a Hines Hill Road railroad crossing at about 9:30 a.m. Oct. 16, they found the males were train enthusiasts waiting for a train to pass so they could take photographs of it. Police said they told the males where they would be allowed to stand to take their pictures.
