The Aurora City School District’s Board of Education recently announced a vacancy for one school board member position on the board beginning in 2020.

This position will be effective beginning in January after the Board votes and approves a candidate.

This vacancy exists due to the fact that there is one candidate on the ballot for the upcoming election and two vacancies because the term has expired. The school board member position will consist of a 2-year term.
