Twinsburg girls soccer will have a chance to defend the first district title in school history.
The Tigers (14-2-1) reached the Division I district final for the third straight year. The second-seeded Tigers did so be beating their rivals to the north, besting third-seeded Solon 3-0 in district semifinal at Tiger Stadium.
Senior All-Ohio striker Alli King was at her best in this big game, getting a hat trick as she scored all three goals for the Tigers. Assists were credited to Gillian Voltz and Lola Davis.
Filling in for injured stater Alexis Cellura, Twinsburg junior Angela Rose picked up a shut out in goal.
The Tigers will face top-seeded Walsh Jesuit in the district final game Thursday at 7 p.m. at Brecksville-Broadview Heights.
