The Aurora PTA has announced its Box Tops fundraiser program is going digital.

Participants can download the app, select the school they want to donate to and start scanning receipts to earn money for the Aurora City Schools. All the Aurora schools will continue collecting paper Box Tops until they expire.

During October, Harmon/High PTO is running a Box Tops contest at Harmon Middle School. Participants should put their Box Tops on a collection sheet or in bags with their names and grades on them. For every 25 Box Tops turned in, participants receive a raffle entry for a price, but they should be turned in by Oct. 25. Gift cards will be awarded to the winners.

On Nov. 5, the PTO invited the community to support the Harmon High PTO's Chipotle give back night at the Twinsburg restaurant from 4-8 p.m.

On Nov. 12 from 6-8 p.m. at Vineyard Vines in Pinecrest, shoppers get a start on holiday shopping with 10% off of purchases with 10% going back to both the Elementary and Harmon/High PTOs.

PTO supporters also can register their Heinen's cards at heinens.com/schools. Heinen's will contribute up to one percent of shoppers’ bills to a school of their choice. Cards must be registered every year. Last year, the Heinen's Teaming up for Education program raised $8,265 with 486 participants. Registering Heinen’s cards makes a huge difference in the support the Aurora PTO organizations can do for the community’s students.
