Police reports are a sampling of incidents responded to by local law enforcement agencies. They are not intended to be all-inclusive.

Stopped for cocaine: Jesse Wayne Weir Peerkins, 25, of 73 Orchard Ave., Oberlin; and Gary Austin Miller, 31, of 275 College Park Drive, No. 36, Elyria, were both charged with possession of cocaine, a fifth-degree felony, after an incident on Sept. 3. They allegedly had a glass pipe with trace amounts of cocaine in a vehicle when they were stopped on North Aurora Road. They were both released on a $5,000 personal recognizance bond.

Domestic violence: A 45-year-old Aurora woman was charged with domestic violence, a first-degree misdemeanor, after an incident on Aug. 31 on Page Road in Aurora. A temporary protection order was issued and a recognizance bond was signed. She has pleaded not guilty.

Ralph Lauren theft: A 35-year-old Cleveland woman was charged with receiving stolen property, a first-degree misdemeanor. She allegedly had about $203 worth of Polo Ralph Lauren property on Sept. 2. She was released on a recognizance bond.

Under Armor theft: A 29-year-old Akron woman was charged with possessing criminal tools, a first-degree misdemeanor, and theft, a first-degree misdemeanor. She allegedly had bags with duct tape in the bottom of them to not set off alarms and also had $257 worth of clothing from Under Armor on Sept. 1. She was released on a recognizance bond.

Handbag theft: Police reported that two unidentified women took a handbag without permission from a retail store on South Chillicothe Road on Aug. 30. The handbag was worth $109.99.

Bus scuffle: A Brunswick man was given a ride to his hotel after refusing to leave a bus that was taking people from a bed and breakfast to a wedding on Aug. 30. The man wanted to be dropped off at a different location, but the bus driver refused to do so as it was not part of his contract for the wedding.
