Bank card charge reported: A Hines Hills Road man reported Aug. 29 that someone charged an unspecified amount to his bank card at a Cleveland Heights service station.


Men were contractors: Police said that after a Brafferton Avenue woman reported some men were walking through her back yard at about 9:30 a.m. Aug. 29, they determined the men were contractors working on a nearby deck.

Someone tried to enter business: An Akron man reported that while working alone inside a Darrow Road business at a little after 5 a.m. Aug. 29, he heard someone trying to enter the business. No one was reported found.
