Speeder fails to pull over: Laketra L. Cannon, 19, of 1512 E. 222nd St., Euclid, was charged with failure to comply, a third-degree felony, after an incident on July 2. According to a document filed in Municipal Court, Cannon was driving over 70 miles an hour on Route 380, on the wrong side of the road and side-swiped another vehicle and did not pull over when police attempted to stop her. A warrant was issued for her arrest.
Receiving stolen property: Le'Ondre Christopher Tucker, 19, of 6100 Hough Ave., No. 3, Cleveland, and Keleon J. Jones, 19, of 1362 E. 92nd St., Cleveland, were both charged with receiving stolen property, a fifth-degree felony, after an incident on July 27. Warrants were issued.
Abandoned car: An abandoned car was towed on Aug. 9 from Aurora Hudson Road. The car had apparently been abandoned for a while, according to police.
Suspicious juveniles: Officers responded at about 1 a.m. on Aug. 9 on North Aurora Road to a report of four North Olmsted teens and one Fairview Park juvenile trespassing at the old Wild Water Kingdom Park. They were charged with criminal trespassing and a curfew violation and brought to the station to be picked up by their parents.
Fraudulent activity: A Southampton woman reported a suspicious bill in the mail on Aug. 9 and told the company that she had never opened the account. The billing company closed the account and a police report was made.
Resisting arrest: An Akron man was transferred from Akron jurisdiction to Aurora for an active warrant for criminal trespass. He complained of a broken back when he was first arrested. Medics checked him out and found that he was not injured. While he was booked, he was uncooperative and used profanity towards officers. He was later bonded out.
Theft: Police responded to South Chillicothe Road on Aug. 14 for a retail theft. Police were unable to locate the suspects, who were not known. About $90 worth of merchandise was reported missing.
Domestic dispute: A woman was arrested on Aug. 14 on Orchard Avenue after she allegedly assaulted her wife and left a bruise on the woman's arm.
