Crime reports are a sampling of incidents responded to by local law enforcement agencies. They are not intended to be all-inclusive.

Car theft: A Kent man reported his wallet was taken from his unlocked car on South Chillicothe Road on Aug. 1. The suspects are unknown. The man contacted his bank and a police report was made. It's unknown how much money was in the wallet.

Suspension on vehicle: An Aurora woman was stopped and her vehicle towed due to a suspension on her license on South Chillicothe Road on Aug. 2. The woman got a ride from a family member.

Domestic dispute: A 73-year-old Aurora man was charged with domestic violence, a fourth-degree misdemeanor, after an incident on Aug. 2 on Woodlake Drive. He has pleaded not guilty and a temporary protection order was filed. He was released on a recognizance bond.

Warrant arrest: A Cleveland man was transferred from Garfield Heights custody to Aurora for a failure to appear warrant for a status hearing. He was brought to the station for booking and later released on bond on Aug. 3.

Theft reported: A 51-year-old Maple Heights woman was arrested for theft, a first-degree misdemeanor, after allegedly taking a pair of sunglasses worth $262.76 on Aug. 4. She has pleaded not guilty and was released on a recognizance bond.
