Man with suspended license: A 19-year-old North Olmsted man was cited on July 1 for driving with a suspended license on Route 480. Police said he was also found to have marijuana paraphernalia, which police cited him for.
Cell phone fraud: A 38-year-old female Cleveland resident met a male 40-year-old Twinsburg resident to buy a cell phone. The man sold the woman a broken phone and then ran away with the money they had previously agreed on paying, according to the report. The woman's money was later recovered. Police deemed the matter civil and no one was arrested.
Man stopped, found with warrant: A 32-year-old Cleveland man was arrested after police stopped him on Route 480 on July 3 for wearing headphones while driving. He was found to have a suspended license and a warrant from the Garfield Heights Police Department. Police also found a trace amount of marijuana in his car. Garfield Police were unable to pick him up, so the man was given a written warning and released.
Found wallet: Police were given a wallet an individual had found on July 4 at Handel's, 10735 Ravenna Road, Twinsburg. Police attempted to find the owner but could not, so they entered into safekeeping as a found property.
Domestic dispute: A 27-year-old woman was arrested on July 5 at about midnight at a Cynthia Road address after a call was made regarding domestic violence. A woman involved was charged with disorderly conduct and transported to the Cleveland Clinic for treatment.
Woman at nursing home reports stolen wallet: A 26-year-old woman at an Aurora Road nursing home reported her wallet, with a Medicaid card and a debit card inside, was recently stolen after she switched rooms. The police began an investigation.
