Mosquito spraying will occur in portions of multiple cities throughout Summit County this week.

Summit County Public Health will conduct spraying in:

• Southeastern Hudson and eastern Tallmadge on Tuesday, July 23;

• Northeastern and southwestern Stow, northwestern Munroe Falls, southern Hudson, southeastern Cuyahoga Falls and Silver Lake on Thursday, July 25.

Spraying will begin at about 8:30 p.m. and will continue until it’s finished.

If weather conditions prevent spraying from happening, the county will adjust its schedule and the revised plan will be available the following day by calling 330-926-5667.

The county does not have a predetermined spray schedule. Officials determine which areas will be sprayed each year based on multiple factors. To learn about the spraying schedule, residents can sign up for text alerts on Summit County Public Health’s website at https://www.scph.org/pest-control/mosquito-spray-schedule.
