STOW — A report of a suspicious person possibly with a gun in a Graham Road parking lot near Bailey Road Monday afternoon ended with no gun being found, said Police Chief Jeff Film.

Film said that the call came in at about 1:30 p.m. and police responded to the Cleveland Clinic outpatient office at 857 Graham Road.

"We weren’t sure what we had when we arrived," said Film.

Film said Cuyahoga Falls police stopped the man in a vehicle nearby on Bailey. No gun was found on the man or in his vehicle, said Film, and police K-9s searching the area also did not find a gun.

Film said the man was taken to a medical facility for a mental health evaluation. No charges have been filed, but police are still investigating and the incident will be reviewed by the city’s law department to determine if any charges are warranted, said Film.

Besides Cuyahoga Falls, Silver Lake and Cleveland Clinic police also responded to the scene, which was mostly cleared by police after a little over an hour, said Film.
