A school bus crash on Friday resulted in non-serious injuries for the driver and an adult aide, but no students were injured.

Macedonia Fire Department Capt. Chip Davis said they received a call that a full-sized school bus collided with a pole at South Boyden Road and Meadowview Drive in Sagamore Hills at 3:16 p.m.

"The bus driver we believe suffered a medical emergency, and an adult aide on the bus realized the bus driver was not feeling well. She was walking up the aisle when the bus was in the accident and she was tossed to the ground. Both adults were transported to a local emergency rooms with non-serious injuries," Davis said.

The medical emergency is believed to be the cause of the crash. Only three students, all from St. Barnabas, were on board at the time and none were injured.
