TWINSBURG — The Rock the Park summer concert series, presented by Strachan Novak Insurance, has made Perici Amphitheatre a summer destination for music fans across Northeast Ohio.
Often described as a "mini-Blossom," Rock the Park offers an affordable night out with the best bands, beer, wine and food trucks in a convenient location.
Set in the middle of Glenn Chamberlin Park, the amphitheater provides a unique, wooded atmosphere with lawn seating, a dance pit, bar and patios.
The 2019 lineup was announced April 24, and tickets go on sale online only at www.RockThePark.com beginning April 29. In person sales at the box office are expected to begin shortly.
The concert series gets under way June 7 with the Boy Band Review: The Original 90s Boy Band Tribute, and continues June 14 with Escape: The Journey Tribute Band (sponsored by ChromaScape Inc.).
"We’re excited to welcome four bands this summer that have never played the venue, along with several fan favorites from previous seasons," said Rock the Park Director Derek Schroeder, also is Twinsburg’s parks and rec director.
"Every year, the energy and excitement of the fans is incredible. We’re continually looking for new acts and ways to provide an exceptional concert experience that rivals any Northeast Ohio venue," he said. "The acoustics and atmosphere around the amphitheater really set us apart. It always feels like a party with 1,500 of your closest friends. If you’ve never been to a show, I highly recommend stopping by this summer."
