Loose dogs: A North Chillicothe Road resident was cited April 6 for having dogs at large. Police said the resident advised them he has been having issues with his electric fence and is working to rectify them.

Trespassing: A Willoughby Hills man and an Orange, Calif. man were cited April 7 for criminal trespass after being found on private property on Squires Road which was clearly marked "no trespassing."

Three women from Whitehouse, Toledo and Swanton, Ohio were warned about trespassing after they were found April 7 in a car parked in a North Aurora Road lot. They told the officer they were parked to charge a phone so they could get directions to leave town.

Lot crash: Women drivers from Ashville and Remindervile collided April 7 while exiting parking spaces at Aurora Commons. Insurance information was exchanged, and no injuries were reported.

Ammo turned in: A Chagrin Falls woman visited the police station April 6 to turn in old ammunition that belonged to her late husband. The ammunition was tagged for destruction.

A Novelty man turned in ammunition April 9 that he said he found while working. It was tagged for destruction.

Permit lost: An East Garfield Road man told police April 4 that he misplaced his concealed carry permit. He completed a written statement and police filled out a report.

Warrant arrest: While checking out a complaint April 4 of a man walking through the woods off East Boulevard, officers found the man was wanted on a warrant from the Portage County Sheriff’s Office. He told police he was in the woods to build a hut. He was taken to the Portage County Jail.
