HUDSON — Police are investigating the March 9 burglary of a Hudson Aurora Road home, during which property totaling approximately $15,000 was taken.
According to a police report, the homeowner reported that when he came home at about 9:20 p.m. after being away for more than two hours, he discovered that numerous pieces of jewelry and collectible coins, as well as a laptop computer and two radios, had been taken.
Police say the main door to the attached garage was forced open and a pry bar was recovered at the scene. The home was then entered through an unlocked door between the garage and the home, said police, and it appeared that only the upstairs master bedroom and areas in the basement were tampered with.
