Beginning on Monday, March 11 until further notice, state Route 8 northbound and southbound between Graham Road and state Route 303 will have various daily lane restrictions for roadway construction.
In September 2018, District 4 of the Ohio Department of Transportation began a $58 million project to completely replace nearly six miles of pavement along Route 8 between Graham Road and Route 303, through the cities of Cuyahoga Falls, Stow, Hudson and the village of Boston Heights.
The project also includes bridge repairs consisting of two bridge deck replacements. During the four-year project, a minimum of two lanes of traffic will be maintained in each direction of Route 8, while various short ramp closures will occur at the Graham Road, Seasons Road, Steels Corners Road, and Route 303 interchanges.
The entire project is scheduled to be completed by late July 2022. If you have any questions, call District 4 Public Information at 330-786-2208.
