Twinsburg Township trustees have scheduled a special branch collection starting March 11 because of the Feb. 24 windstorm that brought down many trees and branches.

It will be a one-time special service, and will continue until the entire township is cleared of branches. Service department crews will collect from each street only once, and residents are encouraged to have branches out prior to 7:30 a.m. March 11.

All branches are to be neatly stacked in piles no greater than 10 inches in diameter. All branches should be kept out of roadside ditches, and should not be mixed with leaves.

The regular 2019 branch pickup schedule will begin May 13 and continue on June 10, July 8, Aug. 12 and Sept. 9.

No application is necessary to receive this service, but residents are asked to follow a few guidelines to help keep the service cost-effective and efficient for everyone.

Program guidelines cover issues such as service dates, restrictions, placement and prohibited materials.

Branch collection information can be found on the township’s website at under the "current programs" tab or "departments-service," and is also available at Township Hall, 1790 Enterprise Pkwy., or by calling 330-425-4497.
