HUDSON — EMS Outreach of Hudson, an independent organization founded to support Hudson EMS, will conduct a senior listening session at the First Congregational Church Fellowship Hall Feb. 8 from noon to 2 p.m.

The event is for seniors ages 65 and older. Seating is limited and reservations are required. To register, call Hudson EMS at 330-342-1852.

The event is designed for Hudson seniors to express their thoughts about what they want or need in the community. The session is free and lunch will be served.

Mayor Dave Basil will be present to learn from the community’s seniors, and the Hudson Fire Department will provide information on its new Fire Safe Seniors Program. Police Chief Perry Tabak will offer information on senior safety and internet/phone scams.

The event is sponsored by the Laurel Lake Retirement Community, Danbury Senior Living, and Hudson Springwood.

EMS Outreach of Hudson was founded to work in partnership with Hudson EMS through advocacy, coordination of auxiliary activities, public awareness, technical assistance, grant funding and training.
