Sagamore Hills Township’s road department posted a notice on the township’s website Monday, Nov. 3, saying the township is experiencing a salt shortage, along with many other Northeast Ohio communities.

Township officials are expecting delivery of additional salt in January 2019, but there are no guarantees.

Therefore, township crews will plow snow, but only will salt intersections, hills and curves. Township officials asking for residents’ patience and understanding during this predicament.

Anyone who has questions or concerns should call Trustee Paul Schweikert at 330-467-4970.
