The Belmont County Board of Elections has certified the several local levies for the November General Ballot.
Barnesville Village – Replacement levy of one half mill (.5) providing fire protection for five years.
Bethesda Village – Fire levy 3.5 mills, renewal for five years providing and maintaining fire apparatus, buildings, or sites therefor, or sources of water supply and materials therefor, or the establishment of lines of fire alarm or the payment of permanent, part-time or volunteer firemen or fire fighting companies to operate the same, or to purchase ambulance equipment or to provide ambulance or emergency medical services operated by a fire department.
Flushing Village – Three (3) mill additional purchasing and providing ambulance and/or EMS transportation, ambulance and EMS equipment, as well as providing paramedic services operated by a fire department, which shall include wages, insurance, taxes, fees and workers’ compensation.
Holloway Village – Four (4) mill current expenses levy renewal for five years.
Flushing Township – (excluding Flushing and Holloway villages), two (2) mills for current expenses for five years.
Goshen Township – Outside Road District additional two (2) mills for general construction, reconstruction and repair of roads and bridges (excluding Belmont and Bethesda villages) for a continuing period of time.
Somerset Township – Replacement levy of one (1) mill for providing and maintaining fire apparatus, appliances, buildings or sites therefore, or the establishment and maintenance of lines of fire alarm telegraph, or the payment of permanent part-time or volunteer firemen or firefighting companies to operate the same for a continuing period of time.
Warren Township – Renewal of one half (.5) mill for fire protection for five years (excluding Barnesville village).
Warren Township – Renewal of two (2) mill levy for roads and bridge maintenance for five years (excluding Barnesville village)
