STREETSBORO — An arrest warrant has been issued for former Macedonia Mayor Joseph Migliorini on charges he entered a house on Creekside Way uninvited and argued with his ex-girlfriend.

Migliorini, 65, with a last known address on Crow Drive in Macedonia, has not yet been arrested, police said. He is wanted for burglary and violating a temporary protection order, both third-degree felonies.

Streetsboro Police Chief Darin Powers said officers were called at 11 p.m. Monday to a house in the 9800 block of Creekside Way. There, they spoke to a woman and the male homeowner.

The woman told officers she was visiting a friend when Migliorini, her ex-boyfriend, "walked into the home uninvited and began yelling at her and calling her names and chased her onto a patio," according to Streetsboro police.

“He just walked in the house,” the woman said during an approximately three-minute 911 call. “We were downstairs playing pool and he just walked in.”

The woman told Migliorini she was going to call the police and he left, Powers said. She further explained that she has a "no contact" order against Migliorini for an incident that occurred in Florida.

Officers confirmed the no-contact order with Palm Beach County, Fla. authorities, consulted with the Portage County Prosecutor's Office and filed charges.

Powers said Migliorini was contacted, advised of the warrant and urged to turn himself in.

Migliorini resigned July 9 after agreeing to undergo a 12-hour anger management course following a charge of misdemeanor battery in Florida.

In that case, Migliorini was accused of grabbing his 44-year-old girlfriend by the hair and slapping her across the face during an incident early on April 27 in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.

As part of the agreement, Migliorini was ordered by a Florida court to have no contact with the victim. According to Palm Beach County court records, Migliorini is scheduled for a Sept. 27 status check hearing in that case.
