Friends of the Hudson Library are giving educators 10 percent off purchases of more than $10 at the next two all-day sales, to help teachers and other educators get ready for their school years.

The sales will be July 19 and Aug. 4 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Friends have collected through donations many used picture books, chapter books, series books, foreign language books with CD workbooks, flash cards, first readers for many subjects and curriculum materials. Many of these selections will be displayed on special carts, including a cart of foreign language dictionaries.

Educators can visit the Friends Room just inside the the main Hudson Library entrance to purchase materials to enrich your students’ lives and your classroom libraries. Find some leisure reading.

This sale will benefit classroom efforts and the Hudson Library will ultimately receive the money from purchases. In 2017, the Friends passed along more than $32,000 for library operations from sales of donated materials from generous library patrons.
