Fireworks will light up the sky around the region throughout the week of the Fourth of July. Northeast Ohio has some beautiful spots to watch from, whether it is in a park or on the water. Here’s the scoop on when and where to catch the shows.
Cuyahoga Falls — Blossom Music Center in conjunction with the Cleveland Orchestra’s annual Independence Day-themed concert. Blossom is located at 1145 W. Steels Corners Road. Fireworks will be at dusk.
Hiram — Hiram College Football Field, 9:30 p.m.
Twinsburg — Cleveland Pops Orchestra will perform at 8 p.m. at Perici Amphitheater, located at 10260 Ravenna Road. Fireworks will follow the performance. Tickets cost $5 to $50.
Akron — Rib, White and Blue, Akron's National Rib Festival, kicks off June 29 in downtown Akron, but the fireworks can be seen from Lock 3 park July 4 at 9:45 p.m. Admission is free.
Aurora — Festivities in Aurora hit the ground running with a 1-mile and 5k run at 8 a.m. at Bicentennial Park. A parade will step off by Heinen’s in Barrington Town Square at 11 a.m. The festival will start noon in Kiwanis-Moore Park and a live band will perform at 7:30 in the pavilion. Fireworks will light the sky at West Pioneer Trails baseball fields at 9:45 p.m.
Cuyahoga Falls — Blossom Music Center in conjunction with the Cleveland Orchestra’s annual Independence Day-themed concert. Fireworks will be at dusk.
Fairlawn — A parade will begin Independence Day festivities from the St. Hilary parking lot at 4:30 p.m. Bands will perform beginning at 5 p.m. at Bicentennial Park, located at 3486 S. Smith Road. Fireworks may go off anytime between 7:30 and 10:30 p.m., weather permitting.
Hudson — Barlow Farm Park, 1965 Barlow Road. Fireworks at dusk. Free parking is available at Little Tikes and Jo-Ann Fabrics.
Streetsboro — Woodside Lake Park at dusk. Cost is $5 per car to enter park for fireworks only.
