STOW — The Landing of Stow, a Leisure Care assisted living and memory care community, will be host a free kickoff event for its new Eldergrow garden 10-11 a.m. on Tuesday.
"We’re thrilled to introduce the Eldergrow program to our seniors, as well as their families and the community," says Sue Johnson, General Manager at The Landing of Stow. "The stand-up indoor garden and therapeutic wellness program offer a number of benefits for our memory-care residents that we’re really excited about."
The kickoff event is open to the community, giving families and individuals the opportunity to explore the mini garden and learn from Eldergrow educators about the benefits of gardening, according to a press release. Visitors can also learn about The Landing of Stow’s new horticultural therapy initiative and how it can help those living with dementia.
The Landing of Stow is located at 5511 Fishcreek Road. For more information, call 330-342-0934.
