The "Hudson Farmers Market Cookbook" — a local project of the Hudson Farmers Market and the Leadership Hudson Class of 2018 that features recipes from Hudson Farmers Market vendors, select local business and family sponsors— is now available for purchase.

This showcase of community ingenuity and flavors is available for $25 and makes an ideal gift for clients, customers, friends, and family. Fans of the market can place bulk orders of the cookbook starting today by emailing, or they can visit the Learned Owl and Destination Hudson to buy individual copies by the end of this week.

"The cookbooks have arrived in town, and we couldn’t be more excited about how they turned out," said M.J. Lehman, a member of the Leadership Hudson Class of 2018. "Savvy citizens can now get their orders in early before general sales begin, having copies set aside as gifts for professional and personal acquaintances alike. They can make the most of a timely opportunity: Mother’s Day is just around the corner May 13, and the Farmers Market Cookbook is a gift for Mom that everyone will enjoy."

Those seeking to buy a copy or two of the Farmers Market Cookbook for Mother’s Day can expect the books to be in stock in the next couple of days at the Learned Owl or Destination Hudson. For orders of three or more books, interested parties should coordinate directly with the Leadership Hudson Class of 2018 team via to arrange for payment and logistics.

A portion of proceeds from cookbook sales will be donated to the Hudson Farmers Market to help fund a new Hudson Farmers Market Scholarship — awarded annually to a graduating senior residing in Hudson who is planning to study an agriculture-related field. Details on the scholarship are available at Remaining proceeds will all be used to support other ongoing Hudson community efforts to be announced.
