The city is planning to staff its Division of Neighborhood Excellence, Communications and Community Outreach with current city employees:

• The position of Neighborhood Excellence, Communications and Community Outreach Director will be offered to Kelli Crawford-Smith, who is currently the city’s Community Development Block Grant/Entitlement Administrator;

• The job of Neighborhood Excellence and Downtown Administrator will be offered to Carrie Hummel-Snyder, who is currently the city’s Riverfront Centre District manager. The Riverfront Centre District department is being eliminated and money from that budget will be shifted to the NECCO budget;

• Becky McCleary is currently the Public Utility Customer Advocate and her job is being renamed Public Utilities and Community Outreach Coordinator, a position that will be part of NECCO; and

• an employee who works in the city’s income tax department will be offered the job of Administrative Specialist. The income tax job is being eliminated in connection with the city contracting with the Regional Income Tax Agency for the collection of city income taxes.
