HUDSON — Friends of Hudson Parks recently announced new officers for 2018.

Rhonda Kadish assumes the role of president, replacing Phil Mikita, who was in the leadership position since 2013. Mikita will continue on the board as vice president. Kadish served previously as vice president of the group, and also as chairperson for the Hudson Park Board.

Rob Brooks, treasurer, and Becky Mooney, secretary, will continue in their respective roles.

Additional board members for 2018 are Alyssa Dennis, Stratford Dick, Lisa Lebovitz, Michael Shoffstall and John Spivak.

"We have very hands-on board members, and some very active volunteers," Kadish said. "We couldn’t manage all our programs without their hard work."

Some of the group’s spring activities are already underway or will begin soon, including Geocaching Adventure, removal of invasive plants, birding hikes and children’s educational programs.
