The Twinsburg Historical Society’s annual meeting and pot luck supper will be April 14, and the popular plant sale is set for May 12.

Bring a dish to share and be ready for fun and fellowship. After the meeting April 14, Lea Bissell will share some of her many slides. Bissell has lived in Twinsburg all of her life and been involved in all things Twinsburg. Memberships will be available April 12, and people can join at

The Twinsburg Garden Club’s annual plant sale will be in the Freeman Barn May 12, the day before Mother’s Day. Come early and bring cash or checks. There will be an amazing array of plants and flowers. It is a gift every mother will love.

Raffle tickets for the 2018 Sunshine Quilt will also be sold. Dedicated stitchers led by Dolly hand stitch a quilt for the society’s benefit every year, truly works of art.

There will also be a weekend long celebration of the Old School June 23 and 24, with the artifacts. The building may be gone but the memories are not — and society members hope you will share yours. The stories can be captured on print or video. Old School memorabilia will be offered for sale to benefit the society. There will also be the ability to capture stories on video or in print.
