Man allegedly threatened woman: Police arrested a 35-year-old Reminderville man March 7 on charges of aggravated menacing, a first-degree misdemeanor, and domestic violence, a fourth-degree misdemeanor, after he allegedly followed his ex-wife to her Aurora home, confronted her about a protection order she obtained against him earlier that day and threatened to kill her, according to Aurora police. 

Woman charged with theft from store: A 34-year-old Mantua Township woman was arrested March 7 on a warrant charging her with theft, a first-degree misdemeanor. On Dec. 27, 2017, the woman allegedly stole $68.62 worth of merchandise from the Marc’s store at 300 Aurora Commons Circle, according to Aurora police.

Woman’s foot slipped from brake: Officers responded March 5 to a location on Aurora Hudson Road for a report of a private property traffic crash. An investigation determined that a female motorist's foot slipped off the brake and her vehicle struck another vehicle. No injuries were reported, according to Aurora police.

Reported overdose death: Officers responded March 3 to an East Boulevard residence for a reported drug overdose. The Aurora Fire Department already was present when officers arrived. An Aurora woman was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.

Former employees warned: Telephone harassment was reported March 2 at a North Aurora Road business after two Cuyahoga County women who were "let go from employment" texted another employee there. Officers spoke with the women by phone and confirmed they would not contact anyone else at the business, according to Aurora police.

Unwanted guest reported: An unwanted guest was reported March 2 at a North Aurora Road residence. When officers arrived, they were told the woman had already left, and she was found walking to her home. The woman agreed not to return to the complainant’s residence after officers advised her not to go back, according to Aurora police.

Domestic dispute reported: A domestic dispute between a boyfriend and girlfriend was reported March 1 on Moneta Avenue. Officers discovered the two were having a verbal argument without physical violence or threats. The couple agreed to separate for the night and the boyfriend left the residence, according to Aurora police.
