Buster is a 2-3 year-old Pug/Jack Russell Terrier mix male and quite a character. He’s a chunky 28 pounds and, although he’s on the smaller side, he packs a huge personality in that small frame. Buster has lots of energy and is also quite opinionated. He’s not shy about voicing his likes and dislikes. We don’t know what his previous life was like since he came to us from a county dog shelter but we think he would be happiest in a home where he could get lots of playtime and exercise. He gets along well with the other dogs in his foster home and loves wrestling with them but might be overwhelming for some dogs as he can play rough. Buster will need some more practice on a leash but would enjoy long walks, hikes or jogs with his new family. He’s definitely got the stamina to keep up with the big dogs. Buster loves his tennis ball and can be a little mouthy when playing. He would not be a good match for a home with small kids but older kids would suit him. He has excellent crate manners and settles down nicely in his crate after playtime is over. Once he's burned off some of his energy, he's a very affectionate guy. Buster may be housetrained too although there are no guarantees. His adoption fee is $200. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week trial period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Buster. An approved application is required before mees are scheduled with any of the rescue's dogs.
